Hutt Capital is a blockchain venture capital fund of funds platform. We invest in blockchain venture capital across fund, secondary and direct opportunities.

Source, diligence, execute and monitor venture capital and growth equity investments across three strategies: fund investments, secondary transactions (both fund and direct) and direct investments in expansion and growth stage companies.

Performed diligence and modeling, and prepared investment reports for private equity secondaries investments across a broad range of strategies, geographies and deal structures.

Responsible for manager sourcing, due diligence and monitoring for private market funds. This include buyouts, venture capital, real estate, tangible assets and special situations funds. Also responsible for private markets portfolio management processes. Integral in building out new due dilgence and portfolio management tools and processes, including building several quantitiative models from scratch. Other one-off research projects are frequent, including authoring a white paper.

Co-Founded Oregon State Investment Group, served as Portfolio Manager and Officer of the group. Responsibilities included providing weekly portfolio and economic updates, preparing one equity research report and presentation per term, trade execution, analysis and reporting of portfolio holdings, portfolio management decisions, educating younger students about equity research and portfolio management, general group management decisions, and representing OSIG at various off-campus events and trips.

Summer Analyst role with private equity firm focused on LBO transactions. Performed initial analysis for inbound buyout opportunities, learned and performed the LBO model and conducted in depth industry analyses for multiple sectors for presentation to Partners. Also initiated and maintained CRM system through Salesforce.

Interned with a minor league (AAA) baseball team in the fields of marketing, promotions, community relations and sales. Worked in the office and during games. Developed skills in all above areas while learning to work as a team in an office setting.
