Develop category strategies to achieve or exceed targeted key performance indicators: Sales Dollars, Sales Units, Gross Margin Dollars and Total Category Mix. Develop and implement category brand building strategies including introduction of new products and programs. Determine retail pricing to achieve gross margin expectations. Plan and determine items for ad, displays/promotion from concept to execution. Work with vendors and suppliers to select and procure products at the most competitive price and ensure superior quality of all purchases. Secure vendor rebates for advertising, placement and off-invoice allowances. Evaluate vendor performance based on personal knowledge of prices and deliveries and information received from stores relative to product acceptability and vendor service. Maintain a balanced inventory of product mix and assess trends and season to determine appropriate purchases.

Responsible for P & L and meeting budgeted KPIs of Bottleshop Department with over $10M in sales in 2015. Generated and analyzed data that included forecasting and pre/post-promotional analysis. Leveraged analytical insights to develop actionable plans. Worked directly with Director of Center Store and Buyers to provide analysis for category reviews. Ad hoc report creation and analysis at the request of Center Store and executive team.
