Physician Resource Coordinator
- Oversees all Independent Contractor processes and acts as IC Specialist and liaison between providers, clinical staff, and Apogee departments including Accounting, Legal, and Staffing.
- Determines IC qualification by reviewing applications, proof of employment, CVs, license verification, and performing background checks among other criteria.
- Leads multiple quality control projects and collaborates with the legal team to ensure compliance with IRS guidelines as well as company standards.
- Develops and provides training on staying up to date with new laws and regulations as they pertain to Independent Contractors.
- Meets regularly and builds relationships with recruiters, lawyers, credentialing, and clinical staff to discuss regulations, model changes, and to create a positive resource pool.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying hospital program long term and short term back up staffing needs.
