I am an experienced urban designer, event manager, and placemaking advisor, who has worked on urban renewal and place-based economic regeneration strategies throughout Australia.Passionate about creating vibrant cities with proud and connected communities, I have a wealth of knowledge of alternative place governance models that disrupt traditional planning processes and facilitate greater involvement of local stakeholders in built environment decision making. Both the founder and director of Fourfold Studio and previous manager of CoDesign Studio’s Queensland team, I am a strong advocate for the placemaking movement in Queensland. I draw on my past experience co-founding the not-for-profit organisation U.R{BNE} Collective, delivering internationally acclaimed activations and knowledge as an urban designer to innovate in this field.In 2018, I led the multi-award-winning Palmwoods Activation Program, the highly-effective multi-stakeholder Woodbury Engagement Strategy and have first-hand experience delivering all scales of events, including the annual Diner en Blanc event which attracts over 3,500 guests to Brisbane's most beautiful and prominent public spaces.Prior to founding Fourfold Studio, I delivered urban design strategies and placemaking interventions for both the public and private sectors. I enjoy public speaking and have presented at high-profile industry events such as PIA Congress, ICTC and UDIA conferences. My depth of knowledge of social, environmental and economic issues that confront our towns and cities enables me to advise government and developers on solutions to navigate through complex citymaking systems.
