• Developed and empowered subordinates to perform at the highest level and constantly improve; developed team to become the only team of 4 to achieve 100% Target Mensuration Only and Air Assault qualified.• Personally trained and certified over 100 soldiers on mission critical skills directly increasing our combat effectiveness and readiness. Developed, implemented, and executed training plan in order achieve 100% soldier certification.• Led 4-person team specializing in coordinating field artillery and air strikes, fiercely sold artillery to the infantry on a continuous basis. Deliberately engaged senior leaders in order to influence future courses of action.• Coordinated, planned, and executed over 25 training events; advised senior key leaders on risk-management and proper implementation of all field artillery assets. Ensured organization was always in accordance with military law and regulations.
Platoon Leader
• Developed training, planning, and execution of live fire exercises for 28 personnel; executed a 3-month training plan that culminated with Platoon executing the first ever convoy emergency fire mission in Ft. Campbell history.• Led a team of 28 personnel, responsible for the training, supervision, and professional development of 12 supervisors and 16 employees. Built a team of energized and committed professionals dedicated to accomplishing the mission whenever needed.• Coached, mentored and developed a winning team of military howitzer operators, achieving the promotion of 4 team members in an 8-month period and was the only team selected by the Commander to represent our unit at West Point, NY.• Responsible for maintenance and accountability of 2x the normal amount of vehicles, equipment, and computer systems for a Platoon. Drove innovation and solutions to streamline operations in order to maintain equipment valued in excess of $35M.
