I lead team of over 100 employees who manage five event venues that host over 300 events each year. I specialize in building systems that increase our efficiency in marketing, accounting and operations.

Omaha Fashion Week is the Midwest's premier fashion event, attracting 9,000+ attendees and showcasing the original work of hundreds of Midwest fashion designers over two sets of runway shows and red carpet events taking place each February and August.

Creighton’s business school is in the top 2% of business schools in the world. Undergraduate and graduate degrees focusing on traditional business disciplines, along with special programs in bioscience management, social entrepreneurship and leadership are taught by 37 full-time faculty members.Developed communications processes and social media strategy, promoted new programs and refined graduate and undergraduate recruitment efforts, all of which have led to 50 percent decrease in the school’s advertising budget while increasing enrollment and engagement of key constituents. Major projects include the launch of Leadership Conversations to bring world-renowned business leaders to Omaha and the conception of the Halo Institute – Omaha’s only non-profit business incubator.

The American Heart Association is the largest non-governmental fund source for heart disease research and education, with a 98% approval rating by consumers. During the 06/07 fiscal year, the association’s Omaha office raised $1.3 million and invested over $2 million in research.Generated 67 million media impressions in the Omaha, Lincoln, Council Bluffs and Sioux City markets during 2006/2007 fiscal year. Secured $170,000 in-kind media sponsorship for association events. Worked with fundraising team to manage sponsor relationships representing $300,000. Wrote communications components of proposals and oversaw delivery of communications benefits. Recruited and trained spokespeople for cause marketing initiatives and fundraising events. Developed strategies to integrate national and local initiatives.

Washington County Bank is a $236 million institution with locations in Blair, Tekamah and northwest Omaha. Owned by the Lauritzen Corporation, it is the largest financial institution in Washington and Burt Counties and represents the largest loan concentration in the Lauritzen bank family. Coordinated and implemented bank-wide and divisional marketing initiatives to meet business plan goals. Participated in strategic business planning and managed $50,000 marketing budget. Executed PR campaign during a $34 million merger, conducted marketing research and used findings to update the bank’s image by streamlining printed materials and designing a new website at www.washingtoncountybank.com.

The Point Financial Group, founded in 2001, is a full-service financial planning firm with branches in Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma. Wrote the firm’s very first marketing plan and developed customer service protocols to reach $10 million asset goal. Planned client education events, focus groups and office community service activities. Designed monthly newsletter, advertisements, invitations and other direct mail pieces.
