During my time at the University Star, I met with a team to brainstorm and implement better marketing techniques for the newspaper, I learned about the importance of print media and marketing, and I used verbal marketing on the campus of Texas State to draw attention to the University Newspaper.

In my time at Aqua-Tots swim school, I grew skills such as customer service, verbal marketing, time management, and money management. My customer service skills grew largely by talking with up to 200 customers per day. I would address in-person customer needs, schedule classes, answer phone inquires, and situate billing. I also learned how to market verbally whenever I was promoting a special offer or talking with potential customers. I settled billing with current and new customers and made right any problems that arose regarding finances.
