As an educator, I am responsible for frequently interacting with guests and informing them about topics such as conservation, ecology, or fun facts. I transition through multiple different exhibits throughout the day to gain a diverse skill set and expand my own knowledge and share that experience that guests all around the aquarium.

Mount Rainier National Park

In this multifaceted role, I accumulated over 650 hours of hands-on experience across various responsibilities within the park. My primary duties involved general patrol, where I engaged with visitors, provided interpretive education, and performed routine trail maintenance. I regularly facilitated trailside educational talks, sharing knowledge about the park's history, ecology, and conservation efforts. Additionally, I played an active role in emergency medical response, assisting with rescue operations and working alongside leadership during ambulance navigation. I contributed to supplying necessary medical equipment and supported litter carry-outs in challenging environments, ensuring the safety and well-being of both visitors and staff.

As one of 25 Florida college students chosen for this program, I had the privilege of working directly with a mentor on a range of birding and conservation projects. I have had the honor to participate in such events as, shadowing park rangers, assisting in bird banding, and touring local conservation facilities. Additionally, I was invited to attend local chapter board meetings to offer insights on current events. My passion project involved increasing accessibility in the outdoor birding and conservation space using Birdibility, and I presented the results in both my CLI group and the St. Pete chapter. My project was also selected to be a web feature on an Audubon affiliated site. This opportunity was a truly diverse and rewarding experience.

Dedicated and versatile restaurant professional with extensive front-of-house experience. Extremely detail-oriented and can work well under pressure during high-stress moments. I was skilled in handling many different positions, often at the same time, within the restaurant. I was also committed to keeping my section efficient and looking good for smooth service. Able to handle both opening and closing duties of any position. I pursued trainer certification and successfully fulfilled responsibilities at the inaugural Florida location in Riverview, where I then moved to the Carrollwood location. I served as head bartender and helped new staff get proficient under my guidance.
