I am third year law student at the Creighton University School of Law. I graduated from the University of Montana, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Political Science, minor in Philosophy, and a post-secondary certificate in Philosophy, Politics, and Law.While an undergraduate, I pioneered the first ever crisis inventory funds database in Missoula, Montana, which compiled an entire county's budget for crisis care into an accessible database for future reference by Missoula County's Internal Budget Committee.Prior to pursing law school, I clerked in several firms specializing in an array of legal practice areas which included: worker's compensation, criminal defense, and immigration, with a primary focus on family and employment-based petitions. During this time, I oversaw the AILA Military Assistance Program for law students at the University of Montana. A total of seven cases were completed in a three month span of our firm's engagement with AILA.I am passionate about volunteering. I held a Community Counsel Board member position for Make A Wish America (Missoula Chapter) and assisted in completing two wishes. I have also volunteered for CASA, completing two successful cases under supervision of the Honorable Judge Deschamps. I am well-trained in the Indian Child Welfare Act from my experience as a CASA and growing up on the Flathead and Salish Kootenai Reservation. I currently clerk at Koley Jessen P.C., L.L.O. in Omaha, Nebraska. My legal interests are directed towards the practice areas of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work. I also serve as the Vice President of the Business Law Organization and am a Legal Writing Associate at Creighton Law School.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Jacob, and our son, Bellamy. My personal interests include poetry (I was published in Montana New Voices Anthology 2018), watching sports, and supporting local coffee shops.
