My compassion and sensitivity have followed me throughout my life and through that, I've discovered my passion for sustainability and conserving our environment. I had the opportunity to backpack in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and I was fully surrounded by trees, water streams, and mountains untouched by civilization. I realized how much I admire the forests and have the desire to protect nature.I'm currently a General Studies student with a Sustainability minor at IUSB planning to graduate in the Fall of 2023. I began my college career as an Art student at IUPUI before transferring to IUSB. While art is a strong passion of mine I’m also exploring and expanding my passion for our environment. Just Food: Sustainable Food System, Oceanography, and Nutrition for Health are just a few courses I have taken that have helped shaped my understanding of the world around me. As an artist and gardener, I’m always thinking of ways to take our natural environment and incorporate art into the mix.Skills and interests: Sustainability, sustainable food system, conservation, and creative design
