I am a junior at the University of Rhode Island, double-majoring in Marine Biology and Wildlife and Conservation Biology. After graduation, I intend to earn my Ph.D. so that I may work in marine conservation and restoration.I am currently working in Dr. Coleen Suckling's Lab at URI, assisting in research on microplastics in marine organisms and pollutants present in local marine ecosystems. I have also recently been awarded the Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship and look forward to working with NOAA in the upcoming year.
