About Brook Mcguire
I’ve worn many hats in my insurance career. I’ve sold insurance and financial plans. I’ve been an underwriter and a re-underwriter. I’ve managed underwriting, operations, marketing, programs and sales enablement. I’m a self-proclaimed insurance geek. While many see insurance as a necessary evil, I see it as peace of mind. We're there on those "worst days." We help customers pick up the pieces after a devastating fire or a serious injury. Insurance professionals protect what matters most and I love that! Today, I’m responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy for all of Safeco's products, including personal auto, homeowners, umbrella, collector car, RV, watercraft, motorcycle, off-road vehicles, landlord protection, flood, renters and condo. I develop our product growth strategy and work across our organization to execute those strategies. It’s my professional mission to help independent agents win. I think today’s insurance consumers need recommendations from a trusted professional who can offer them ease, choice and advice. I believe independent agents are uniquely positioned to offer customers the right coverage, at the right price, while building great relationships and doing good things in their communities. This is especially true when talking about the rental income stream that protects someone’s retirement, a treasured classic car or the motorcycle that takes them on adventures, near and far. I’m passionate about insurance. I’m very passionate about specialty insurance! I've been lucky enough to have great mentors during my career; women who poured their wisdom and love into me. My personal mission is to share that wisdom by mentoring the women coming up behind me. I'm passionate about helping women succeed in their current roles and helping them develop their skills in leadership, influence and strategy.
