Project/Program Manager and Industrial Designer. I decided to pursue a career in industrial design because I wanted to design products for outdoor adventure/action sports enthusiasts because of a lifelong love of the outdoors. In my studies and practice, I have been exposed to the broader world of design and have found enjoyment in tackling design challenges of all types - product/artifact, interaction and experience, packaging, system, graphic, communication - the full spectrum of human experience. I approach each design challenge as an opportunity to discover new things about myself, society, and the natural world, and as a chance to bring some of my own perspective and life experience to the task at hand. Moreover, I feel strongly that the key purpose of designing and creating products is to put in people's hands, the tools and artifacts to make life more productive, more connected, and more meaningful.
