From the fields of Nebraska to the forefront of agricultural technology: Growing up on a family farm in south-central Nebraska, I witnessed firsthand the crucial role that innovation plays in agriculture. This experience ignited my passion for advancing agricultural technology.Currently, I am a sophomore at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Agricultural Engineering. As I look forward to the coming summer, I am actively seeking internships in agricultural technology and related industrial systems.   Inspect center pivots by checking oil pressure/level, water pressure, engine temperature, and machine orientation to keep it operational, running, and constantly irrigating crops that need water.Operate a wide variety of farm equipment by carefully maneuvering on roads and through fields with the intention of a variety of tasks including the following: drilling and planting seed, sub-soil tillage, harvesting grain, and hauling machinery.Service all types of equipment used on the farm by greasing, cleaning, changing oil, changing tires, and swapping consumable parts on threshing and tillage devices. This constant maintenance allows heavy-duty machinery to keep running effectively for many years.
