Heading the development of an accounting software that automates the process of entering accounting data into QuickBooks. The main function of our company is processing payroll, so whenever a payroll is processed, our software will derive accounting values from that payroll based on a custom configuration, and will deposit those accounting values into our clients QuickBooks files.

Payday Resources is what is technically known as a Professional Employment Organization (PEO). A PEO is optimized for handling employee administrative tasks and for handling the records and reporting related to those tasks. My primary role at the company has been to collect and input the data necessary to complete onboarding, payroll, and tax processes by communicating directly with our clients. On two occasions I have conducted offsite onboarding projects at client offices whose employee count was over one-hundred, forcing me to communicate with and to guide hundreds of strangers through our processes.

DevMountain is an industry leading coding school that teaches modern tools and skills for building web applications. I studied at DevMountain in their 12-week immersive program, spending 8 hours every day learning and practicing new skills. In particular, I learned how to build SPAs with both Angular and React, how to work with 3rd party APIs using asynchronous programming techniques, how to design and query relational database with SQL, and how to build a server with Node.js and Express.
