Desktop and mobile device maintenance as well as application support for over 1000 users.Project tasks included:- Retrofit 2 million sq ft under roof facility of buildings with new IT infrastructure including fiber ISP, fiber between 40 storage buildings and 3 office/production buildings, over 100 wireless RF scanners, 200+ PCs and several custom solutions to display live inventory and production data, all integrated with our Accounting and Timekeeping databases.- Integrated time lapse cameras to capture the entirety of the Phase 2 construction and provided streams for live viewing and the final data captures used to create a time lapse video for our Corporate website.

Respond to incoming support calls and requests through the Service Center Support Management console and identify/repair related services, files, applications, databases and physical hardware per the affected users needs. Managed nearly 100 users across a 4 server cluster of databases and terminal servers as well as the applications and files stored and accessed through the cluster.Worked as a key member of the Management Team to accomplish Inventories in 5 different buildings, reprice, reprint and distribute tags for store wide price changes and promotions for 4 different HomeStore. Also assisted in documenting many of the Standard Operating Procedures implemented during my time, plus developing several in house PHP/MySQL applications to assist our team with the tasks the current systems lacked the ability to do efficiently.I have also had the experience of opening a HomeStore, from the view of both the new assistant at an already built site to planning, ordering and implementing an entire HomeStores IT deployment... including a computer linked to a huge roadside LED display!I was also responsible for keeping our network live as well as maintaining our CEO's ability to be connected to the business at all times. This includes VPN dial ins, DFS path connectivity, email server connectivity, file compatibility and the ability to be in touch with key members of the team via email, phone, or fax.My duties also including working with third party vendors for orders and SKUs, other AFI IT staff for planning or support needs, other HomeStore groups collaborating with us, and maintaining the individual POS and Customer Service equipment at each store.I was also trained in using the applications provided by AFI and passed that training and knowledge on to many team members during my time here.

Learned the very basics of what makes a construction site possible.I was trained to assist in plotting out AutoCAD coordinates to place key surveying markers used by the Contractors to begin building a structure or shaping a land project. Mostly, we worked for the companies that paved highways and roads for the FDOT.Here I learned the very root of data collection and structure, being taught how to gather an entire project into a calculator one point at a time using laser and GPS technology. I learned how to label layout markers and set the to specific elevations and how to do that with the various tools provided. Eventually, i learned how to collect that data too and upload it into AutoCAD.Not long after, my partner and I began working on our own, going ahead of the older, experienced team and laying out the structure for the jobs... placing mile and 100 foot markers from start to finish, labeling the markers and the other monuments from the DOT as we went.I was also in charge of checking our supply levels each morning before we got our assignment for the day... stocking all the needed materials... stakes, black markers, tacks hammers, nails, all the sizes of tape measures, rulers, calculators, the laser collector and rod, the level and linker rod, paint, stencils, safety equipment, water and any other items we might need after learning our assignments.One of the best experiences here was repaving MacDill Air Force Base Echo and Foxtrot runways... a monumental job to accomplish but worth all the experience.
