Led research efforts from beginning to end for TurboTax homepage redesign: developed learning plans, moderated research sessions, analyzed data, and presented actionable recommendations to project stakeholders.Used a variety of research methods (ethnography, experience mapping, usability studies, etc.) to evaluate the end-to-end TurboTax experience; partnered with design and product teams to drive design strategy and product improvements grounded in deep customer insights.

Conducted literature reviews on a range of topics including choice overload, prosocial consumption, and pay-what-you-want pricing; designed and implemented research studies in the laboratory and field; partnered with firms to conduct experiments applying academic insights from behavioral economics to help solve real-world business problems.

Worked on a suite of NIH-funded investigations into the effects of the built environment on obesity and physical activity. Administered questionnaires over the phone and in-person; performed data collection and analysis; developed IRB and grant application materials; managed team of interns to complete observations of 50+ parks throughout San Diego to assess the accessibility and usability of various recreational amenities.
