Working in Shell's Water Group managing Shell's reclaim and produced water in Groundbirch involving Frac support, disposal well commissioning and operation, pipeline operation and maintenance, water hub and remote pump operation and maintenance, and water trade support.

Co-ordinated trucking for services for all groups in Shell including Civil Construction, Drilling, Completions, Flowback, Field and Plant Operations, Surveillance, Turnarounds, and Road Maintenance.

Responsible for overseeing the management of catering, housekeeping and maintenance of Shell's Sanataa Camp and the maintenance of Shell's road systems and leases in northeast British Columbia.

Primarily responsible for ensuring quality of service to clients in the oil and gas sector and involved in oil and gas business development and marketing efforts. Also managed a wide variety of environmental projects supporting oil and gas developments and provided technical and regulatory assistance to both external and internal oil and gas clients,

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the environmental group. Developed extensive networks with local representatives at the BC Oil and Gas Commission, local consultants, and Golder’s professional expertise in offices throughout western Canada. As a primary point of contact for key clients I provided permitting and permit compliance assistance and managed a variety of environmental projects including pre-construction site assessments, fish habitat assessments, the development of caribou and environmental protection plans, liability assessments, and environmental monitoring for construction projects.Also managed a wide range of other environmental assessments and projects for the oil and gas industry including desktop baseline studies involving soils, vegetation, terrestrial wildlife, aquatics, surface water hydrology and quality, groundwater, air, noise, land use, cultural heritage resources and traditional use components, as well as the subsequent focused field programs conducted to fill identified data gaps in publically available knowledge and an associated groundwater well sampling program involving over 120 individual landowners.Also managed pre-construction soil, vegetation, aquatics and terrestrial wildlife assessments, reclamation monitoring and assessments, NEB as-built reporting and post-construction monitoring programs and Stage I and II environmental assessments.

Conducted reclamation assessments on abandoned oil and gas leases to determine the required scope of work; organized and supervised the surface reclamation of oil and gas leases throughout northeast BC and northwest Alberta; completed Reclamation Inspections and Schedule ‘B’ assessments and associated reporting required to submit OGC COR-Part II Applications; taught reclamation field skills as part of the BC Aboriginal Land Reclamation Skills Development Program. Also participated in Stage I assessments and Stage II Investigations of oil and gas leases and supervised the site remediation of oil and gas leases in northeast BC and northwest Alberta.

Carried out fieldwork, reporting, and various application processes associated with Agricultural Land Commission pre-construction Schedule ‘A’ Site assessments and post-abandonment Schedule ‘B’ Site assessments. Also conducted Phase I environmental assessments for a number of commercial and industrial properties throughout northeast BC.

Conducted forestry work in remote northern locations largely limited to helicopter access including a variety of silviculture surveys involving extensive field orientation, plant identification and inventorying, data entry and reporting and were also involved with a number of other forestry related work including the GPSing of traversed block boundaries and treatment areas, monitoring weather conditions for aerial herbicide application, and identifying, delineating, and GPS traversing areas of mountain pine beetle infestation.
