I wrote documentation for the test suite of the stellar evolution simulation software MESA. This included running each test case, and using Latex to create documents including plots of the resultant data that explained the details of the test case, the purpose for including it, and the desired measured outcome for that specific test. Users were generally expected to create their desired simulations by starting with a test case and gradually altering it to fit their specific needs.

I worked with Dr. Edward Rhodes to analyze helioseismic data from NASA spacecraft (NASA Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager & Michelson Doppler Imager) to help better understand the acoustic and structural mechanisms inside the sun and predict changes in solar activity. I wrote and implemented UNIX shell scripts and fortran code, and used supercomputer resources to streamline and maintain the data pipeline that analyzed the NASA spacecraft data into useful results.
