Also supported CARE’s water and sanitation-related advocacy.-Crafted CARE’s overall umbrella strategy for countries in conflict advocacy.-Supported country offices and regional advocacy advisors in development of CARE’s advocacy strategies for Darfur, South Sudan, Haiti and the West Bank and Gaza.-Conducted field interviews and wrote analysis and recommendations related to sexual and gender-based violence in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo to support CARE’s U.S. advocacy in support of the International Violence Against Women Act.
