I am a working environment professional with experience in all phases of the Norwegian offshore oil & gas industry. In my line of work, I have held various roles and been involved in a wide range of tasks and projects within the field of health and working environment. A main deliverable has been support to offshore operations, including building and implementing a procedural framework for a safe and compliant working environment. As responsible for industrial hygiene support for offshore installations I have planned and managed the work environment programs, including IH monitoring. My roles have involved regular offshore visits and verifications to production platforms, vessels and drilling rigs. Recent efforts have been directed towards project support in design, engineering and construction. As technical authority (TA) I am responsible for working environment standards and requirements, and to manage deviations.I have over 10 years’ experience in chemical management in the offshore industry, including developing management systems and procedures, implementing tools and performing the various task related to chemical management. I hold experience in managing and working with the occupational and health services and medical preparedness for offshore operations.As part of the 2nd line emergency response team I take part in handling incidents. I have experience from several roles in ER team, mainly HSE and Communication. My current role is Communication, and involves responsibility for coordinating communication and media response.
