J.D. candidate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, expected to graduate in May 2026. I am particularly drawn to exploring fields of law, such as energy, natural resources, and environmental law.Before enrolling in law school, I worked as a Deputy Clerk III at the City of Shreveport for almost four years. I gained over 1500 hours of courtroom experience as a Minute Clerk and a Certified Digital Court Reporter. I trained incoming clerks, maintained court dockets, prepared and distributed legal documents, answered inquiries, and recorded court proceedings using FTR Reporter equipment. I developed a strong proficiency in computer literacy, problem-solving, and multitasking in a fast-paced and demanding environment.My aspiration is to emerge as a dedicated legal advocate who contributes to the welfare of the community. I'm excited to learn from the professors and my fellow OU Law students and apply the knowledge and skills acquired in various legal contexts.
