I’m an engagement, communications and change professional that has experience across multiple disciplines and organisation types. I've nineteen years’ experience in the private and public sectors, which has given me a great understanding of the challenges and opportunities from industry representative, commercial and government perspectives. Over my career I've delivered internal and change communications, stakeholder engagement, media and crisis response, and PR initiatives. It has been a career goal to understand many communications disciplines across varied sectors, and this has given me a unique strategic and well-rounded understanding. Increasingly my expertise has grown through working on technology-related change projects. In February 2024 I gained certification as a Prosci Change Practitioner, which has given me an extra layer of expertise that I can apply to communications. I've also upskilled as my career has progressed to gain the NZ Certificate in Regulatory Compliance (Core Regulatory Knowledge), the NZ Certificate in Tikanga Māori, and the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate in Engagement. As much as for passion as profession, I also have run a PR company that allows me to deliver creative PR for small to medium businesses.
