Parents on Leave is a unique program designed to support Parents as they rejoin their organisation and prepare for their ongoing career. It is focussed on face-to-face discussions and the development of a peer network and access to world-class expert speakers and facilitators. Our aim is to build confidence in our program participants and work with them individually on their career goals as well as provide valuable support to their line managers and organisations.An accomplished Human Resources executive with over 30 years’ experience in HR and Consulting. I have held executive HR roles in diverse sectors including Professional Services, Mining and Manufacturing and Higher Education, and have extensive experience leading global teams and working both in Australia and the UK. I bring to the table sound judgement, pragmatism, deep knowledge of contemporary HR and Talent practices, all honed in highly complex operating environments. I have worked on significant M&A integration and restructuring initiatives internationally; built my own successful businesses in the consulting and retail environments as well as service in the British Royal Navy where I was instrumental in designing and implementing the Royal Navy’s first centre to deliver counselling and support services to Naval staff and their families I am a Mentor and a Leadership Syndicate Advisor for Women on Boards Australia and, an Executive Coach with clients globally. I am committed to assisting others achieve their career aspirations and goals and was a panel judge on one of the professional services sector’s first Diversity and Inclusion programs for women.As a global citizen, I was born in Scotland and spent my years growing up in Canada, Scotland and England.  I now call Australia home, having lived here for over 30 years.
