I have held executive HR roles in diverse sectors including Professional Services, Mining and Manufacturing and Higher Education, and have extensive experience leading global teams and working both in Australia and the UK. I bring to the table sound judgement, pragmatism, deep knowledge of contemporary HR and Talent practices, all honed in highly complex operating environments. I have worked on significant M&A integration and restructuring initiatives internationally; built my own successful businesses in the consulting and retail environments as well as service in the British Royal Navy where I was instrumental in designing and implementing the Royal Navy’s first centre to deliver counselling and support services to Naval staff and their families I am a Mentor and a Leadership Syndicate Advisor for Women on Boards Australia and, an Executive Coach with clients globally. I am committed to assisting others achieve their career aspirations and goals and was a panel judge on one of the professional services sector’s first Diversity and Inclusion programs for women.As a global citizen, I was born in Scotland and spent my years growing up in Canada, Scotland and England. I was also a regional judge for the inaugural Lynne Sutherland Award (recognising those who supported the advancement of diversity and inclusion within the firm). I was also a member of the EYA Women's Leadership Steering Committee.
