Teaching environmental science to ninth grade at Algiers Technology Academy

Host and coordinator for events at various venues in the Greater Baton Rouge area. Primarily these are events where I run a trivia competition and the venue supplies some kind of prize for the winning teams. My role is best described as part-DJ, part-Alex Trebek.http://www.monkeybr.com

With the troupe, I'm responsible for communicating with proprietors of potential performance venues, coming up with marketing material, as well as promoting the group's events in social media. I also perform as an improviser in the shows we put on.

Inventory, Maintenance concerns, Mechanical operations, general factotum for the Chemistry Department ● Maintaining accurate inventory of over three thousand items at a value exceeding $21 million ● Overseeing upkeep and renovations for 120K+ square feet of lab, classroom and office space ● Liaising with other departments on behalf of Chemistry on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives ● Training building staff on safety procedures relating to possible crises in Chemistry Department ● Responding to urgent issues that affect personal or building safety around the clock ● Developing new protocols to account for developments and changes in the Department ● Handling ad hoc responsibilities as the need arises
