The ensured an aligned improvement program across central engineering, the three major manufacturing sites in France, the US & the UK and incorporated the reseach division's future enhancement plans for the device. A common set of metrics for performance was agreed and used to focus future improvements.

Role required setting strategy and leading implementation of cost saving and supply security projects, as well as commercial negotiations. Main GSK sites in UK(3),France(1), Italy(2) and US(1). Main suppliers in Germany, US, France and UK. Annual ongoing savings of $6M achieved

Led a team of five charged with developing new Aluminium smelting technologies and providing site technical support to Smelters in the Rio Tinto Network. Specific tecnologies involved the application of advanced ceramics to smelter construction with the objective of reducing power consumption by 20%.
