I am a Corporate Communications professional whose expertise in Employee & HR communications drives employee engagement across digital and print channels. My approach is to proactively inform and update stakeholders both about what they need to know and want to know, while supporting business priorities. During my first year at NBCUniversal, employee engagement doubled for target audience, based on average e-newsletter open rates average of 67%. The results of my campaigns are high levels of stakeholder engagement and consistent messaging that reinforces the employer brand. I created an internal communications identity system for Universal Studios Hollywood that automated dissemination of employee communications, connecting them to the parent brand and expanding distribution to include the entire 7K-person workforce. I also implemented technology for digital screens, the Intranet, and company email to provide analytics to measure engagement with the messaging. I wrote content for NBCUniversal’s “The More You Know” videos and developed marketing campaigns for the openings of DreamWorks Theatre Featuring Kung Fu Panda and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. These successes led to my receiving the GEM Award as well as recognition as an Achiever by NBCUniversal.I conduct pro bono communications for nonprofits as part of Public Relations Society of America’s “Quality Time with PR Minds” initiative.Early in my career, I worked at Hill & Knowlton, where I received hands-on experience in public relations and helped launch the agency’s first-ever internal communications practice.
