The first time I can remember picking up a pencil and drawing, i was hooked. I was about 5 years old and from that day on I never stopped. Art has provided me with so many amazing opportunities, and surrounded me with so many creative people. My first art job was when I was about 11 years old pin striping and scalloping classic cars and hot rods. My steady hand led me to a 17 year career tattooing. After tattooing the right person I was offered a job as a concept artist creating comps, and finals of futuristic weaponry, post apocalyptic earth bound cityscapes, alien landscapes, and foliage for Meeting of the Minds, an independent video game company. I also became the art docent for Suquamish Elementary School when I learned the art program had lost funding and became a volunteer position only. Teaching the kids about art history and anything from pencil work to 3D illustration, and color theory was extremely rewarding, but I felt that I couldn't be the role model the kids deserved without higher learning. I feel that I can always improve and learn more, so I sent myself back to school to the Northwest College of Art and Design in Poulsbo WA Where I am currently finishing my senior year majoring in Illustration and 3D modeling | Texturing | Animation . I have learned a great deal more then I I thought was possible and intend to continue learning to improve and refine my skills.
