With over 23 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, and cloud automation, I am passionate about building scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for data-driven applications. I have a strong background in AWS, Scala, Python, Java, Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, RDBMS, and many other technologies, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced and dynamic environments.As the Lead Software and DevOps Engineer at Fringe, a startup that offers personalized employee benefits, I have a wide array of responsibilities on a very small team of engineers. I have full ownership of the CI/CD tooling, the AWS infrastructure, the Kubernetes administration, and site reliability. I also share ownership of the Scala-based RESTful microservices, the data model and sync between Salesforce and PostgreSQL, the overall architecture, and the mentoring of other engineers. I have successfully revamped the infrastructure from ClickOps to IaC using TypeScript and CDK.
