I am a 1st generation college graduate and I couldn't be more proud of that fact. I am no stranger to hard work as I've faced 40+ hours a week while pursuing my Bachelor's Degree full-time. I will impress when given the opportunity. It took only a few months after I moved into an office position that I became the one everyone came to for handling more difficult tasks, and answering any questions. I have been told by my supervisor, plant manager, and HR manager that I am not easily replaceable. They are going to miss my work ethic, joyfulness, and ability to take initiative on projects.When it slows down, I take the time and work on future things that I think can be improved, or create spreadsheets that will help me finish my work more efficiently. One of the projects I worked on this past summer was implementing a recycling program that I am excited about. So far we have recycled nearly 1,000 pounds of cardboard! In the workplace I try and be upbeat, joyful, and be the fun one. I believe that in doing so, and creating a more positive environment brings out the best in me, and my coworkers.
