Sole designer and developer for the ZigBee Smart Energy Profile (SEP) software for the REX2 network interface card in the Elster electric meter. This included the energy services portal in the meter, the load control switch for the water heater, and the interface for the smart thermostat. Other 3rd party ZigBee devices were tested for interoperability and integrated into the system.Several pilots were rolled out before full commercialization, including one for 100k+ homes.

Lead a team of 3 engineers to develop software for multifunction finishing (MFF) equipment for Xerox. Designed the system architecture and developed the embedded software for the platforms. Designed and developed test and analysis tools, both internal and external to the unit under test to detect issues and monitor performance. Developed a hardware simulator that ran the embedded code. Worked closely with the mechanical and electrical teams to develop operating specification and design documentation.
