I started my career working in the Data Networking division of AT&T / Lucent Technologies in their Support organization. There I worked on such diverse topics as UNIX applications, Wide Area Network (WAN) communications, TCP/IP, and many other, now extinct, communications protocols. I moved from Support into Marketing, starting with Trade Show support and then moving into Technical Marketing and Sales Support. I performed these last roles while living in Taipei, Taiwan to address the Asia Pacific markets.I started with Fidessa in 2004, back again in the Support organization, specializing in the NMS product. I’ve since been promoted to my current role as the Regional Head of Support Service Desk - Americas, specializing in Equities trading.Along the way I’ve learned to speak conversational Mandarin Chinese, been an Adjunct Professor at the City University of New York (CUNY) and was a part time Real Estate agent. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Information Systems, both from Polytechnic University, now NYU Tandon School of Engineering.I’m also a living donor, having donated a kidney to a longtime friend.
