I am a Wellness and Fitness Expert with extensive experience as a trainer and consultant in the health and fitness industry since the year 2000.Some of my career highlights to date include being Trainer to the Red Team on the International Hit Reality Weight Loss TV Show, “The Biggest Loser South Africa”.The overall winner, Sharon Haaroff with prize money of R250 000 and runner up prize winner of R50 000, Jacques Pienaar are both from my Red Team. Asanda Siloti, also from my Red Team is boastedthe third greatest weight loss at the Reunion Show.Another successful project on a large scale was the 12 Week Strength to Strength Challenge I developed for Vaseline for Men, a product by Unilever for it’s 2010 FIFA World Cup marketing campaign held in South Africa. The challenge drew over 3,000 men nationwide and the prize winner of R100 000 lost a total of 22 kilograms using my program.I’ve also spent 7 months in Mumbai, India “shaping” Bollywood star Girish Kumar Taurani for his debut movie called Ramaiya Vastavaiya. (You will find his testimonial here) He is the son of Producer and Managing Director of Tips Industries Limited, Mr. Kumar Taurani. I worked with Girish whilst filming was underway and literally had to “chisel his body under his clothing” without causing drastic changes to his overall clothed person to preserve continuity with his on screen appearance. I remain active as fitness consultant to Girish who I now consider a good friend.I have in the past produced fitness articles for various wellness magazines namely Longevity magazine and Mr. Price Sport’s online magazine to name just two.
