His background in accounting, finance and tax are the backbone of his practice. Mr. Edge provides support for business acquisitions, turnarounds, growth strategies and start-ups. . Mr. Edge has been a successful business and financial consultant specializing in business planning and analysis and capital structures. Previously Bruce was Vice President of Finance for BEA Logistics, LLC a subsidiary of B/E Aerospace, Inc. (BEAV), a $4 billion manufacturer and distributor of strategic materials and services for the aerospace and oilfield services industries. At BEA Bruce led the efforts to acquire and integrate 7 independent oilfield services companies and establish BEA Logistics as a major national supplier to the oil & gas industry. Prior to BEA Bruce served as the Chief Financial Officer for OmniFresh, LLC and In 1998 he founded Green Tree Chemical Technologies, Inc. a $50 million aerosol and intermediate chemical manufacturer where he served as Chairman, CEO and CFO. Prior to Green Tree he founded Specialty Filaments, Inc. (a $100 million brush filament manufacturer) where he served as Chairman of the Board, Co-CEO and CFO. Prior to SFI, Mr. Edge was part of the group that founded Applied Extrusion Technologies, Inc. (AETC) where he served as Sr. Vice President, CFO and Sales & Marketing. During his 25 year career Mr. Edge has been responsible for business buy-outs & integrations from under $1million to over $500 million, together with private and public debt and equity offerings. He's been a featured speaker on the diverse topics of leveraged buy-outs, financial analysis and manufacturing cost. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Delaware State University, with post graduate studies at The University of Virginia, Weidner University and Christopher Newport University.
