Below is a list of some of the projects that I have completed over the last 3 years. • Wrote a real-time database disk monitor in C, that allows you to:o Track read and write activity, including throughput, I/O rates, and response timeo Track Path, HBA, and overall system-wide rates, in addition to per disk rateso Sort output in ascending or descending order of response time, throughput or I/O rates.• Wrote a system to access data describing file movement within the systems and use a Java JDBC interface to perform insertions into a corporate Oracle database.• Won a runner-up award in a “Big Data Hackathon” event. The submitted code that uncovered over $10 million worth of potential Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.• Wrote a DCL script using output from EMC timefinder commands to estimate the amount of time required to catch up with writes through the SRDF pipe. This code was used to minimize database freeze times during a database snap operation.• Wrote and delivered a bash shell scripting course, along with linux admin training.• Helped the linux team size semaphore allocation.• Helped the linux team resolve an issue with patches.• Wrote a DCL script to determine the number of files owned by users in a particular directory and send “request to cleanup” notification to users owning more than 1,000 files in the directory. • Wrote a DCL script to monitor progress of Netbackup and send notification, if a given job was running particularly slow.• Wrote a C program that read and searched accounting files, based on a full or truncated job name. Output was written in CSV format, so that it could be processed in Excel.• Wrote a C program that searches multi-domain LDAP mapping files for mapped users and removes them if found, or simply reports based on user need,• Designed and implemented a “Zero Downtime” Platform (ZDP) using 2 mostly read-only system disks and a writable disk which stores logs, data files, as well as other writable files.This is only partial
