For the past 15 years I have owned and operated a consulting business specializing in marketing and management of several real estate projects, including residential developments, sport, recreation and tourist facilities. I recently completed the second phase of the marketing of Evans Court on Wascana, a multi-phase condominium apartment, townhouse and single family home subdivision awarded Best New Subdivision by the Regina and District Homebuilders Association in 2009. Currently working with a partner developing several real estate projects in and around the Regina area.

Regina To Balgonie White Butte Development Corridor

I have twice been elected by representatives of Councils in our region to serve as Chairman of White Butte. White Butte is a regional planning committee for the dynamic residential and commercial development corridor along the Trans Canada Highway east of Regina. White Butte members include the Town of White City, the City of Regina, the Rural Municipality of Edenwold, the Towns of Pilot Butte and Balgonie and the Village of Edenwold. Together with our White Butte partners we have collaborated with the Saskatchewan and Federal Governments to create the largest construction project in Saskatchewan history, a P3 Highways project with a total value of in excess of 1.8 Billion dollars. This project, which includes 15 overpasses, a new by-pass around the southeast and west portions of the City of Regina, and connecting service roads, will exponentially improve safety and efficiency of traffic movement in the region, and ensure the dramatic growth White Butte has recently experienced will continue for generations to come.

I had the honour of serving as Mayor of the fastest growing Town in the Province of Saskatchewan. White City Council takes pride in providing high performance governance focused on the best possible services at the least cost of delivery. Our community is a family friendly place just minutes east of the capital city of Regina.

A term contract, I negotiated agreements on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan with the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC) for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. While working on a daily basis with VANOC, I developed a business plan and negotiated a lease for the site and agreements for the Saskatchewan Pavilion, arguably the most successful provincial Pavilion showcase at the 2010 Games.
