I was also the Acting Safety Manager at an underground mine.

I was responsible for the successful implementation of the sites health, safety, training and environment (HST&E) systems and strategies, compliance to legislation, the implementation of risk management and emergency preparedness programs. I coordinated high level emergency exercises, led the implementation of CABA equipment underground, coordinated the introduction of various fitness for work procedures, managed the rehabilitation (Injury Manager), training and induction departments as well as implementing numerous health and safety initiatives.

I was responsible for the despatch and delivery of the entire NSW and ACT market through 8 Distribution Centres in NSW and ACT. I managed a team of 10 direct reports and had over 300 indirect reports including employees and contractors. This team despatched a product range of over 200 varieties daily and in excess of 3 million units per week with incredible accuracy.
