("UHS"), one of the largest publicly traded hospital companies in the country. After I left UHS several years ago, I became the general counsel for a start-up company called Critical Homecare Solutions, Inc. (which was a pharmaceutical and home care company). After successfully growing the company, we sold it to BioScript, Inc., a publicly traded pharmacy company. I then became the general counsel for another start-up group. CarePoint Health, a hospital company in Northern New Jersey which grew from one hospital to a three hospital system during my tenure there. I serve as a volunteer coach for the Boys Varsity Basketball team at Bartram High School in Philadelphia. I am currently available to serve as a member of a board of directors for a public or private company that needs an independent board member with significant experience and expertise in health care, employment, governance and compliance issues.
