► Coordination and supervision of an underground workforce of 10 direct reports and +50 indirect reports, setting and appraising measurable goals and KPI’s, providing technical guidance and support, fit-for-purpose training and mentoring, and encouraging the ongoing identification and development continuous improvement opportunities► Ensuring all workers understand and comply with their responsibilities under the site Safety Management Plan, conducting formal and ad-hoc safety interactions, providing visible safety leadership and ensuring the delivery of high quality workmanship with safety first at front of mind► Pre-shift communications with Deputies and Contract Supervisors to identify hazards and report key information, as well as providing decision making support for Deputies ► Organising the execution of statutory inspections and reviewing shift statutory inspection reports as per the requirements of the Mine’s Inspection Standard► Conducting and/or reviewing incident investigations, and taking immediate action on any non-compliance or safety issues► Driving towards the achievement of daily and weekly production targets whilst maintaining statutory compliance ► Utilising sound planning and coordination abilities to ensure the effective management of conflicting priorities► Timely and accurate creation and submittal of production and associated safety reports ► Managing operational risks associated with production and maintenance activities.
