Bruce Griffin has over 20 years of leadership, managerial and technical experience. Mr. Griffin holds a Bachelor’s of Economics from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University.Mr. Griffin is currently the Chief Technology Officer at the Chabot-Las Positas Community College serving as the senior most technologist for the two-college district. Prior to joining Chabot-Las Positas Mr. Griffin was a Sr. Consultant with Strata Information Group assigned as the Chief Technology Officer at the San Mateo Community College District. As the Associate Vice President for Technology at Ohlone College, Mr. Griffin served as the senior technologist on the President's Cabinet. In this role he guided the college technology vision and strategy while overseeing day-to-day operations of a multi-disciplined technology department. Mr. Griffin was a Senior Consultant with Strata Information Group based at Ohlone College prior to accepting an in-house position. With SunGuard Higher Education, Mr. Griffin was a member of the Managed Services Division holding the position of Chief Information Officer. As such, he was responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of information technology at Claremont Graduate University. He worked closely with faculty and staff to design and implement systems and processes that promoted the University's academic and business goals. Prior to joining SunGuard Higher Education, Mr. Griffin was an Information Technology Consultant for California State University – Los Angeles’ Division of Administration and Finance. He served as liaison between functional users, technical resources, and outside service providers for the University’s PeopleSoft Financials and Student Financials implementations. He assessed business processes and made recommendations to improve operations and application functionality in the PeopleSoft environment.
