I am the founder and a Principal at Fuel Solutions Inc., based in Los Angeles CA. Our firm designs alternative fuels infrastructure, including CNG, LNG, LPG and Hydrogen. Fuel Solutions' primary market, is public sector agencies and large private fleet operators.Though our primary customer base is in the public sector, although we have designed Hydrogen fueling infrastructure for General Motors and CNG fueling facilities for Disneyland and Waste Management. In the last 19 years, our firm has designed and managed the construction for over 150 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling facilities across the United States. Fuel Solutions has been fortunate to have about 90%, "return customer" ratio. We have also designed dozens of diesel and gasoline fueling facilities, but our focus has been in the alternative fuels sector.Our major clients are New York City transit for 13 years, LA Metro for 15 years, multiple projects for the "T" in Boston Mass, multiple clients in the greater Phoenix area, dozens of facilities in the greater Los Angeles area, and another 100 plus facilities across the US.Specialties: I have raced cars since I was in my early 20's. In fact, I drove a race car, before I drove a street car. While motor racing, I am the most comfortable and relaxed than any other activity I do. It is a sort of meditation for me.I had the opportunity to pursue racing as a profession, in my early 20's, but chasing sponsorship from year to year was not something that appealed to me, so I chose to be an entrepreneur. A decision I do not regret.My experience in motor racing, gave me enough knowledge relating to fuels, mechanical design issues, mechanical innovation and complex decision making, to have the confidence to start Fuel Solutions Inc. My direct entry into alternative fuels was thanks to an opportunity I was given by Southern California Gas Company, as a Natural Gas Vehicle Specialist, in the marketing division at SoCalGas.
