My 23 years with HH Gregg have been challenging and productive.Working in the store as a member of the sales team, to store operations manager. This strengthened my abilities in working with the public, and associates. As a Field Auditor, I learned the importance of training for our store associates. I reached out to the new members of management, to help them become stronger in the operations, and inventory control portion of their jobs. When you are the person reviewing the stores operations for the company, you can be looked on as someone to be leery of. I worked hard to make sure all associates could come to me for help and assistance. I am proud of the opportunity to help open two new markets in the Carolinas, and Florida. Working with a large number on new and lesser experienced associates was a rewarding challenge. As the RDC Auditor, main duty was the tracking and reporting of the delivery center's 20 - 45 million dollars of inventory. Had to complete daily cycle counts on different categories of product . Reviewed the receiving, shipping, and delivery areas for any inventory errors.Additional duties included weekly to bi-monthly training on all inventory control functions. These varied from telephone conference calls, to in person training at the warehouse and stores. I assisted in reviewing company SOPs, and offered information on their accuracy, and any updates needed. Previous to HH Gregg, I was a store manager at Service Merchandise for 9 years. Duties included all store operations, hiring, personnel reviews, and inventory control. I started as a Manager Trainee.After several location moves , I progressed to assistant, then store manager.
