Experienced Trainer and examiner for multiple Remotely Operated Aerial Vehicle (R.O.A.V.) systems with sound knowledge of asset inspection.An accomplished chief pilot with over 2000 flights working on both offshore Oil & Gas assets as well as numerous onshore refineries and chemical plants worldwide. My senior role within Cyberhawk has seen me lead flying operations to carry out numerous worlds’ firsts in the R.O.A.V. industry. These include offshore flare, under-­‐deck and derrick inspections, the first wind turbine blade inspection offshore and first met mast inspection offshore, both of these carried out working from the rear deck of a supply boat.As company chief Pilot I act as mentor, trainer and examiner to the junior pilots helping develop their career and tailoring training objectives to improve their skills.As a leading operator within the Aeromodeller fraternity I have participated in numerous UK Model Air Shows performing flight demonstrations with scale helicopters. I also hold examiner status within the S.A.A. (Scottish Aeromodellers Association)Prior to joining Cyberhawk I successfully ran a training school providing intense tuition for competitive remote control helicopter pilots as well as beginners. I have also designed and built prototype flying platforms to customer specifications as well as in-­‐house for Cyberhawk when carrying out trials for new market segments.
