Grants Management Specialist
CurrentUnder contract to perform grant proposal preparation work under private business that primarily secures contract work with government agencies. Primarily provide consulting and funding proposal writing for public works, recreation areas and facilities and other resource projects that provide for the needs and benefits of cities, counties, special districts, and Native American Indian tribes. Prepare all project construction budgets, financial reports, statistical information, and creative costs-to-benefits ratio analysis, and narratives for justification of grant awards. Present oral and written reports. Provide presentations to elected officials in public meetings to gather input and render decisions on capital improvement projects to be funded by grants. Gifted at conceptualizing all the component items that should be incorporated into any size parks project to be as winner for the using public. Working with private corporation (Mt. Hood Skibowl) on securing grant funds from USDA Community Connect program to plan and install broadband fiber optics cable to provide internet and telephone services and benefits to Government Camp rural community. Also, desire to assist Jefferson County, OR agencies with preparing and submitting competiotive grant applications to win and secure substantial funding for variety of planning, community developmentand infrastructure opportunities.
