SENIOR LEVEL MEDICAL AFFAIRS EXECUTIVE – Improving healthcare worldwide through innovative viral hepatitis and infectious disease programs and product launches including Sovaldi, Harvoni, Epclusa, Vosevi, Baraclude, Synercid and Maxipime.--Eliminating hepatitis C for more than five million patients worldwide is a remarkable example of what the biopharma industry is capable of.Over the course of 20+ years in the biotech and pharma industry, most recently as Executive Director at Gilead Sciences, I developed expertise in both infectious diseases and liver diseases. I have cultivated peer relationships with international key opinion leaders and public health officials, working to cure their populations of deadly viral and bacterial infections. I am continually learning and innovating on how we can do things better, generating real-world evidence in support of clinical trial data, incorporating artificial intelligence into screening processes, and improving upon the processes to generate data addressing unmet medical needs. This mindset has led to significant shifts in our organization, and positive outcomes for patients. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀PRODUCT LAUNCHES: Led the global medical launches at Gilead Sciences for three of the industry’s most successful products, Sovaldi, Harvoni and Epclusa, to cure Hepatitis C, and similarly with Baraclude for chronic hepatitis B and Maxipime for life-threatening bacterial infections at Bristol-Myers Squibb.DISEASE REVERSAL STUDY: Spearheaded a global study at Bristol-Myers Squibb to demonstrate the reversal of cirrhosis with long-term administration of Baraclude. The results culminated in a label change in the EU and a landmark publication in a major medical journal.INNOVATION: Designed and launched a new RFP system for the submission and approval of investigator-sponsored clinical trials, now a standard operating procedure in Gilead’s Medical Affairs division.𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 Global Medical Affairs, Viral Hepatitis, Infectious Diseases, Hepatology, Transplantation, Public Health, Global Healthcare SystemsBruce Kreter, PharmD✉️ kreterb@gmail.com📞 415 969 0122
