Over the past 20 years, I have been active in the real estate market in the ownership of multi-family and industrial properties, I have also developed several properties for ownership/sale, and I provide private capital for construction loans/mortgages. I will consider financing of individual projects that range between $100,000 and $5,000,000.Previously, I joined a start-up medical device business (AMT Inc) in 1993. Over the next 17 years, in my capacity as President/Managing Director, I grew the business into the leading electrosurgical company in Canada, having introduced a number of leading edge technologies to the marketplace and innovative new educational models to grow new product introductions. The business evolved in to two distinct entities, AMT Surgical and Vantage Endoscopy. I sold part of the business to a publicly traded company out of the UK in 2007 (Diploma-PLC) and sold my remaining position in 2011. I remained on the board of directors of AMT until 2011. Prior to selling the business, I was awarded an international patent on an electrosurgical device and had an initial patent application approval on a second medical device. I continue to remain involved in the medical business by providing capital to a number of private medical device companies.
