Bruce has extensive experience in mobilizing strategy for large corporate organizations. He has specific strengths in the areas of business turnarounds, business, operating and service delivery models, and has a passion for coaching teams through the chaos and change created by business transformation challenges. He has built, mobilized and led high performance teams in many of South Africa’s largest corporate organisations across different industries. With a strong combination of experience in strategy, finance, executive coaching, human resources and operations, target operating models have become a specific focus area. Bruce’s experience and ability to integrate operating models and service delivery capability with business performance is a key driver of success.He currently leads manufacturing strategy for the Consumer Division of RCL Foods, reporting to the Manufacturing Director. Business Unit plant strategies and turnarounds have been a core delivery focus area in this division with an annual turnover exceeding R12billion and 8 500 employees. Prior to joining RCL Foods, Bruce spent 18 years with Deloitte Consulting and a further 2 years developing his own consulting business leading large organisational transformation projects for some of South Africa’s biggest corporate citizens. Earlier in his career he spent 6 years in the tourism and leisure sector with the Southern Sun Group.During his career he has:• Successfully established and led Strategic Sourcing units consistently delivering benefits in excess of R100m per year.• Prince II (Practitioner) qualified, significant programme and project management experience. • Established shared services models for large mining and diversified foods businesses with significant long term benefits.• Developed and implemented target operating models for organisations in the mining, telecommunications and diversified foods industries.
