Bruce joined BMT WBM in 1974 and left the company in 2015, during which time he held a number of leadership roles within the company. Between 1987 and 1995, he was manager of the Acoustics, Vibration and Air Quality Group and between 1995 and 2006, was the Section Manager of the Structural Analysis section of the company. Bruce has unparalleled technical expertise in a broad range of mechanical, structural and environmental engineering fields. Over the years, Bruce has been involved in projects ranging from undertaking air quality, noise and vibration investigations as part of environmental impact studies and R&D studies and developing impact control measures, through to design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, failure investigations and preparation of technical specifications for heavy mining machinery, ports machinery, bulk materials handling equipment, and railway machinery. He was an advisor to the committee responsible for the drafting of the very first AS 4324 standard applicable to mobile materials handling machinery.
