Transportation Coordinator
Current1.Acts as a district liaison to parents, patrons, teachers and administrators on all matters concerning transportation policies and procedures. 2.Administer the contract for student transportation for all regular ed and special ed students. (Review contract, RFP, and billing documents).3.Monitor contracted transportation provider(s) to insure they operate within Federal, State and Board of Education guidelines. Supervise the daily operations of the student transportation program (regular school year and ESY) and work to resolve any transportation issue. 4.Work with transportation provider to make sure bus stops are at a safe location.5.Work with state auditors annually.6.Coordinate all special education transportation, including all changes throughout the school year. Provide guidance to special education teachers, coordinators, and administrators on transportation procedures and guidelines.7.Implement emergency procedures for bus accidents or lost students.8.Do incident reports on bus accidents9.Manage transportation software
