Responsible for co-managing along with VP of Commercial Operations all aspects of field operations to include management of all field staff.• Responsible for co-management of all commercial field operations. • Coordinate with field operations and purchasing for change order pricing. • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure proper material is being delivered in a timely manner and being purchased to maximize cost effectiveness. • Approves or declines subcontractor draw requests weekly. • Coordinate with field operations managers to schedule all labor including in house, subcontractors, and site superintendents. • Collaborate with estimating, VP of Commercial Ops and field operations managers on bids, pricing and budgets. • Maintain business relationships with all general contractors. • Perform random site visits for quality control and material utilization. • Assist with safety and quality compliance on all projects and ensures top quality performance from all employees. • Ensure site superintendents are meeting projections and budgets of all projects. • Prepare and present VP of Commercial Ops EOY takeoffs for all projects in progress.• Answer technical questions from field staff. • Coordinate with operations to maximize project performance, clarify technical specifications, scope adherence, and contract obligations.• Work with VP of Commercial Ops in preparing budgets, schedule of values, and job start up with accounting.• Examine, and revise as needed, commercial project draw requests to maintain positive revenue.• Build and Maintain subcontractor relationships.

The director of purchasing performs a variety of duties to ensure the company obtains the goods andservices needed at the best possible price.• Negotiate pricing with all supply houses and salesman for commercial and residential plumbing.• Disperse the proper material from the warehouse to the appropriate jobs and projects in the field.• Monitor all projects for excess material and ensure too much material has not been ordered.• Manage the transfer of all excess material from job sites back to the Hallway Plumbing warehouse.• Collaborate with Director of estimating for final submittal packages.• Recommend more cost effective ways to manage projects with proper material.• Manage all aspects of the warehouse which include ensuring staff are complying with warehousepolicies.• Verify all pull sheets and material on residential jobs to ensure the accuracy of pulled jobs.• Assist in managing any offsite Hallway Plumbing warehouses.• Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning in regard to daily administration of all functions andactivities associated with this position.• Demonstrates good judgment in regard to providing information and advice to the operations team.• Demonstrates good judgment in regard to escalating issues, which are beyond the scope and control ofthis position in a timely manner.• Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer and company information.• Seeks guidance and direction from appropriate members within the organization as may be required inthe performance of responsibilities and duties.
